Another effort to stay sane as a performing guitarist who can no longer perform live due to this plague we are living through...

This is my 2nd "Fantasy for Strings". I wrote it with hopes that a local orchestra who has performed works of mine will use it with a small ensemble. It could be performed by anywhere from 5 or more string players. I recorded using a GPO "small section" choice for the 2 violins, viola, cello, and bass staves.
It is 8 minutes long, rather aggressive at times, and I believe a decent challenge for the players while being melodic enough for the audience.
Enough of the chit-chat...
Hope you enjoy it.
Pete

Could be called "Fantasia Energico for Strings." Lots of variety in articulation -- marcato, staccato, pizzicato, lyrical. As with any good fantasia, you never know what to expect next. I hope you can get your local orchestra to try it. May be challenging for some players, but it will hold their interest (and presumably the audience's as well).
