Pashkuli: Custom Music Notation?

Post by Pashkuli »

Hello, Overture users and devs.

I just purchased Overture 5 as a cross-grade from another music notation software, for which I have a licence, namely Notion 6. I also have used MuseScore.
I saw that in Overture the staff can be modified as a TAB score notation.

Can Overture score be modified as a generalised TAB, with the "strings" tuned in "octaves" (I call the "octave" a renova, from Latin for anew, again)?
Can we have some custom notations inside of overture?

I have designed my own Music Notation called PMN (Plain Music Notation). It is symbolic and by nature represents a some kind of generalised TAB for any instruments incl. drums\percussion.
Here is a comparison between the "standard" music notation and PMN:

This is because I have designed also two new keyboards. A redesign of the "standard" (layout) piano keyboard and a uniform design keyboard (known as Jankó-Dreschke):

This is the mapping of the noteheads on a "standard" keyboard layout:

Will be exploring the program in the holidays!

Here is some consideration with regards to chords and how to write them in PMN:
