Does Overture works under Big Sur?
I upgraded to Big Sur and Overture quitted.
Do I need to downgrade to Catalina?

Confirming that OV 5.6.3.3 doesn't open under Big Sur.

After upgrading to MacOS 11 (Big Sur) all attempts at opening Overture 5.6.1.2 fail. I get a standard Mac Crash Report titled "Overture 5 Quit Unexpectedly". Also, when trying to reinstall Overture a get the message “Overture5.pkg” can’t be opened because Apple cannot check it for malicious software. This software needs to be updated. Contact the developer for more information." I've sent a report to Sonic using Contact Us.

I really need to complete some scores but I would like to know if somebody knows if it will be a quick fix for the crashing. I found some guides to downgrade to Catalina but it looks a hard way to do. Or maybe beg to Apple to help us musicians for an update or something.

It's not help to you now, but the demonstrates a time honored directive: NEVER upgrade your OS until you know the programs you need are compatible. Especially MAC!

Thank you for your "demonstrates a time honored directive", I know it was MY fault for not checking Overture working on Big Sur. I only want to know WHEN a fix will come or an EASY WAY to downgrade to Catalina.

Simply put there were old Apple OS bugs that appeared in Big Sur.
Just search the internet to see how many problems there are with Big Sur.
