I thought I'd re-state this request - because it must be relatively simple and for me, important.
I'd like a media player included in Overture, so that when I'm notating a 'recording', I don't have to constantly switch between programs.

There's a very good chance this will make it into Ov5, along with the necessary tools (volume control, time offset, etc.).

You can load an audio file in the View window and use that for now.
