I am frequently notating/arranging an mp3 file. I have to switch back and forth between Overture and the player, so I wish there was a little built in media player. It seems like in some programs , if it's visible on the screen you're 'in' the program. With Overture however, you have to click on the screen to get 'in' the program. So too with my mp3 player. Thus it's 2 clicks to play a song, 2 clicks to get back in Overture and on and on.

-add me to the list of Ipad Overture fans. I was in Mexican Mayan Jan 2011. In a restaurant there was a piano player with an Ipad. He was reading music created in Encore - there - I said it - and I imagine saved as pdf. I'm in different 'shows' and have a bulky book for each show. I would so love to have it all in Overture , on an Ipad.

Overture for iPad may happen someday. In the meantime, who really cares where the music was created? i.e. What's to stop you from printing "Overture" score files to PDF to read from your iPad? Everyone else, be it users of the other two scoring apps (I don't consider Encore a viable alternative anymore...), is reading their iPad scores from PDF printouts anyway. The apps used to create them has nothing to do with it.

That's a good idea. The Metro sequencer have this kind of player, called the jukebox, that can play almost any media format into the main app.
