Hi Don,

I read the list of new features of Ove5.
GREAT!!!javascript:emoticon(':D')

Please, if it's possible, add the change instrument in one stave.
I play alto and soprano sax, flute, alto flute and piccolo, so
it's very difficult read three staves at same time:o)!

Thanks

Claudio

Write your score in Concert pitch.
Extract the part and apply transpositions to each change of instrument.

Hi Barry,

Nice to meet you.
Thanks for your advise:-)

I knew it, but it takes very consuming time to do it…because I must change every alterations in each different instrument at the beginning of bars…

I'd like to have …go to flute, or go to alto sax…directly in Ove, so it can calculate the
right transposition right now.(With right keys)

Another…

Of course you know that some songs have different keys in itself song..
Example Cmaj in the strophe and Emaj in the bridge……

Well….

Because I work in italian television competition many times(Thanks God),with
many singers, often I must raise or lower(at last moment)
the whole arrangiament one or two steps..

It would be very useful if it could be possible to raise or lower the whole
arrangiament with a push button.

thanks again

Chato

Chi sa...
This would be nice but not sure if it's a priority for Don. In the meantime, Barry's solution is not too difficult to achieve.

Senza dubbio, arrivera.
I think OV5 will have this...I'm hoping anyway...

Barry,

I think you may have misunderstood Claudio's concern which is to transpose a score containing multiple key changes proportionally. Overture can only reset "all" keys to one key signature; it can't transpose them all together.

You can have each track play with an offset of some number of notes via the track setup (Setup Track) window. Note the Instrument Name, the Transpose Part | Playback area, and the Key Signature on Transposing Instruments options. Are any of these useful for what you want to do? And they can be different on each track. It would seem to me that Uncle Don had already accounted for these transpositions.
