Reinstalling Amadeus
Reinstalling Amadeus
I just replaced my main computer. I have the serial key from my Amadeus purchase some years ago. On the Sonic Scores website I see downloads for Overture 5 but I see no link for downloading ASO, just the option to purchase it again. Any help is appreciated.

Re: Reinstalling Amadeus
I have the original RAR files, if that will help.
Re: Reinstalling Amadeus
I don't know if that would help. I assume there is an install process and activation screen. It is a plugin. I sent an email to Don (I hope the old email address is still valid) but haven't heard back. Pretty frustrating that the website has no info on how to reinstall ASO. Reinstalling OV5 was easy. Thanks.
Re: Reinstalling Amadeus
Just following up in hopes this may help others who need to reinstall ASO.
After signing into my Sonic Scores account and going to "Downloads" I did see a button to download the files. There is also a detailed installation guide but be aware that the latest Kontakt program, which it tells you to install, will not support ASA and its VST2 file. You must download and install the older Kontakt 6. Also, I had no success in registering ASO in the Native Access program (which you also need to have). In Native Access, ASO already showed as "Installed" and when I tried putting in my serial no. it just froze on the "Registering" screen. Nevertheless, once I installed the correct Kontakt program, found the VST file (which was now called "Kontakt.dll" and scanned it in OV's Plugins Manager, everything worked.
