These 6 dances in the style of Austrian country music inspired by the countryside of Lower Austria where I live called the "Arbesthaler Hügelland"! These dances were composed by me. They are not original folk dances from Austria!

The dances were premiered at 28 September 2013 under the conductor Georg Kugi, the soloist Matthias Schorn (first clarinetist of the Vienna Philharmonic Orchestra) and the Capella Istropolitana (Bratislava) premiered.
That day I was very happy!

Have fun!

:D Jovan

Yes - lots of fun - exceptional performance and such joyful compositions! Thank you for sharing - and I am assuming that gentleman who comes up on stage at the end is Mr. Jovan himself!

Bravo!

Needs an extra applaus! Very joyful and friendly countryside (at the end of the concert).

Many thanks,

Raymond

Thanks also to you, Raymond, that you've viewed the dances.
The trigger for this composition was very funny.
The concert started with "Die Favoritin", followed by the Clarinet Concerto by Mozart, than Wagner and than Tchaikovsky!
The conductor asked for something light and airy for the warmup of the audience.
With Mozart, Wagner and Tchaikovsky it's hard to compete. So,I composed six country dances.
And the audience loved it!

:-) Jovan
