Violin concerto no. 1 Op. 31
Violin concerto no. 1 Op. 31
Hello friends,
finally finalized this piece. It took several months, waiting for the right solo violin and how to use it. For the time being this will be my last project. The rest of this year and the next year I will continue my study, attending workshops about individual instruments, going to concerts and giving my family more of me.
Hopefully you enjoy it as I did writing and recording.

I find the instrumentation very clear and purposeful. We particularly like the third movement. Very passionate and forward urgently! Good Job.
Wish you a successful 2015

Raymond,
You are not alone in loving the Prokofiev Violin concerti !! Thanks for sharing. Glad I don't have to learn that violin part (or the guitar equivalent...)

Re: Violin concerto no. 1 Op. 31
Well, after such nice feedback to my music I realized I too should spend some time on the demos...
Raymond, your Violin Concerto is a very original and exciting piece. And that's coming from a pretty "Classical/Romantic throwback who is not one to listen to much modern music any later than, say, Shostakovich
I enjoyed your work. The sound of the solo violin is very convincing. I cannot translate the notes on your site so I am assuming that was VSL? Very nice!
