Mirsolav Philharmonik - 80% Complete (lacking ranges and combi/multi sets) (+ auto articulation routine)

I've just bought this (but it won't be here for a few weeks) - so I'm wondering roughly how much time that last 20% represents?

Also, does the (+auto articulation routine) comment mean, that's done, or that's still to be done?

Thanks,
Gwydi

The automatic articulation routine for Philharmonik is already programmed and working.

Since Philharmonik is based on channel changes for articulation switching you have to set it up a little differently than other products (each articulation represented in the Tracks Properties dialog in a seperate voice along with the channel that articulation is loaded in Philharmonik.) The Sample library integration manual at the top of this discussion forum contains information about how this works.

Forgot this one...

Instrument definitions for EWQLSO Platinum (Brass, Percussion, Strings, Winds) are finished and in Patch 7.

Automatic articulation playback is included (for keyswitches and articulations accessed through seperate channels/voices.)

Please see the Sample Library Integration Manual for more information on how this functions.

How about "Korg Legacy Collection, Digital editon (Korg M1 VSTi)" ?

I contacted Korg corporation (Japan) just now and ask them to provide MIDI implementation chart to Geniesoft.

Best Regards,

That would be fine. All I need is a patch/bank list for a synth type plugin.

Someone who owns it will need to tell me EXACTLY how it appears (name) in the VST rack in Overture 4.

I contacted Korg again, and requested a text-format patch/bank list file.
(Because the number of M1's patch is more than 3000.)

I hope you don't get offended by all of my posts asking questions about MOTU Symphonic Instrument. I'm simply not very knowledgeable when it comes to plug-ins, VST, and electronic music, although I am learning as fast as I can!

I see you have MSi listed as something you are working on getting compatible with Ove4. Is that still happening? Is there any way to get my stand-alone version of MSi to work with Ove4, or is there anything I can do to speed up the process of getting things moving?

I almost freaked out after spending $300 on a new software only to find that the software doesn't seem to be working with the Ove4 demo and i don't think I can load and playback MIDI files on it either!

thanks

Interestingly, I downloaded the Ove4 Demo on my home computer yesterday and was able to get MOTU to work. I'm not sure if someone at GenieSoft did update the software, or if it was related to the fooling around I was doing with the MOTU sound settings.

Anyhow, I plan to buy the upgrade asap and will post back as to whether everything works. I'll probably also purchase GPO to supplement.

Great! and I was worried.
Please upload your demo using MOTU and Overture4 later.

List added...

User request for Crystal instrument definition just fulfilled 2 minutes ago.

Question for Scott:

Do you need me to include support for other Crystal banks or just the standard? Keep in mind that it is very easy to create your own instrument definitions as well.

Also, is the Kontakt libary request for Kontakt 1 or 2? Not that it really matters I

guess.

If you got Crystal to work, I am very interested in knowing how.

Also, how do you define your instrument defs? I would like all of Crystal's patches available.

Harry

Just chiming in with a beg for Kirk Hunter Emerald. I'll dangle the carrot of my promising to upgrade from SW to O4 when you do :)
