Post subject:  Help Please-Vienna Instruments Pro Midi channels- Where??

I really am begging for help here. I was an expert in using GPO4 and, now, all excited because I now have Vienna Instruments Pro2 and a bunch of great sounding libraries, I can't make heads nor tails out of assigning a VSL patch so that I can access it in the OV tracks window, as I did with GPO. I think I understand the whole VSL Matrix thing as far as live performance/sequencing usinbg mod wheels, or keyswitches, etc. But HOW do you just assign a patch or preset to a midi "slot" (like I did in Arai Player/GPO4) I see no channel info anywhere. In fact, in the tracks window it makes no difference what midi channel I select for a staff- it just plays whatever patch I click on in VI Pro.
Have mercy on a veteran OV user- some advice, please!
Pete

Thanks to Bill I have a solution. Vienna Instruments Ensemble, which is a free download with my VI purchase and I didn't know had any use for me until now. It is a multi-timbral addition to Vienna Instruments. I must say that as incredible a program VSL is, the learning curve and "shortcuts-that-aren't-obvious" are equally enormous!! But I now have a light at the end of the tunnel and I thank all who have helped along the way... hopefully I won't be panicking again anytime soon :)
