Tatsu,
Is Notion integrated into Sonar or is it just compatible?

very different from the former version?

Pretty much identical to the NI version!

However, the changes are things like:
1. SAM Brass presets. These are additional to the existing ones and have the formats:-
-- SAM <instrument> Plr 1 KS
-- SAM <instrument> Plr 2 KS
-- SAM <instrument> Plr 3 KS
-- SAM <instrument> Solo KS
-- SAM <instrument> Section KS

The KS (keyswitches) are just between "Sustains" and "Mutes". No staccato, sadly. :(

2. Auto-legato which is activated ON/OFF via CC102

3. 2 sets of presets. "Standard" and "Notation". I think the keyswitches are missing in the "Notation" version? Not sure how these work, tbh.

Hi Tatsu,

That seems to work fine! Just selected Violins I, added some pizz, stacatto markings etc. and they got the right keyswitches automatically. Looks like they haven't changed in GPO 4.

I'll upload a version with the SAM Brass settings when I get some spare time over the Christmas and New Year period.

Thanks again,
Nick

Has anyone finished these definition files?
I don't know how to install and use them.
(The JABB 3 (Aria) system is fairly new).
Thanks for any help.
