Hey everybody,

I had some time in a recording session and did not know what to do with the microphones and the drums that were in front of me... So here is a little drums library, for FREE!!!

Image

- The DrumTAsteFree is a Rick Marotta Signature Hipgig drum set with paiste cymbals
- 80Mo of samples recorded at 16 bits, 44.1khz.
- Custom mapping, you can assign every element to any key from the interface.
- Mappings presets: GM, V-DRUMS, IMAP, NSKIT (NDK) or default one.
- cc# controlled Hihat that features automatic closing sound.
- 2 Cycle round robins.
- Sensitivity button to adjust the response.
- Detailed instruments: 6 velocity layers per round robin
- KONTAKT 2 or superior.

Quick demos (played quickly on a keyboard, no big correction has been done):
Demo1
Demo2

The interface:

Find it HERE

Feel free to do you own mapping and sent it to us so we can add it to the downloads!

Thank you for the lovely offer, indeed, however Kontakt player is a real pain to use; enough to where I really don't think I can get your sample to work using it. Sorry . . .

So you know one which is not? Let me know!

However it needs the full version of kontakt to work correctly with these samples. Which are very good BTW.

Aria Player *is* easy to use.

I have spent too much hair-pulling time trying to get the new version 4 Kontakt player to work — with that damned service center software — and all I wanted to do was use the samples, right out of the box but the player keeps dying, claiming that it was not registered when it was, etcetera.
I can not think of ONE application from NI that worked as it should (I bought two), except for the earlier versions of Kontakt player, which actually did what they were supposed to do.

F*** Native Instruments.

Well, i kind of think that kontakt is pretty easy to use... but if you like Aria (and own it) SFZ mappings are coming soon :) I'll make it available as an update in the user account.

edit:
EXS, and SFZ mappings are here (we did some of the work and some users did some too, thanks :) ), just go to your account and in "My account", you will find the update.
