Although I am seeing the multi-measure rest in the drop-down menu, and although I am selecting it, it is not inserting it. It's doing nothing. So... where is it and how do I get it? Anyone? I have a session tomorrow. Please help!

Thank you.

A value equal to or greater than 2 in the Combine numerical is required to get the notation to show, even though the dialog shows a default picture of a "1" measure rest.

Yes, thank you, John.

But... I entered 20... and it gave me nothing. It didn't or wouldn't insert anything, so I had to handwrite it. What am I missing?

I'm getting 20's ok over here, on the PC that is.

See if this one opens up for you:
MultiMeasure20.ove

The only thing I can think of is that there wasnt a full 20 adjacent empty measures available on the score at that point.
