Is there a concept of Sections within an Overture Score?

This question recently came to mind upon seeing the Show at Start of Section checkbox inside the Set Measure Numbers dialog

I don't understand QuickHelp's explanation:

Starting Show at start of section

Choose this option is [sic] you wish to display the measure numbers at the beginning of this sequence, regardless of the measure within the sequence.

If Overture has the overall concept of score Sections, where is that explained and how do we create or change the scope of a Section.

But what is the setting "Show at start of section" supposed to do? Does it really just mean "Show at beginning of score? If not, what does "section" mean?

Thanks.

Most, maybe all notation programs, treat bar numbers in sections, so that you can restart a new set of bar numbers on any measure in the score.

Aha! I get it. A new "section" starts wherever we make a change in measure numbering (regardless of which property is changed - not only the progression of the number), and of course including at the beginning of the score. If Show at start of section is unchecked, then the measure number will not appear there even if, under the Interval we have set, it normally would appear there.

But checking Show at start of section will not make the measure number appear there if it normally wouldn't under the Interval we have set.
