[Solved] SW5 crashing while trying to print

I haven't used SW in some months but now, suddenly, when I try to print a new score or an old one, SW crashes and I have to reload the program. It does the same thing if I try to create a PDF. I'm on a MacBook running Mac OS Ventura 13.2.1 Very frustrating--no one to call or write, no apparent answers on Forum. What do I do? I can't use it if I can't print.

I am not an SW user and have no idea if this is right or not... but I'm wondering if maybe the same logic can be applied to you...that was used for a similar issue found/resolved in Overture.

That worked: I set the Page range for printing pg 1 to pg 1 (rather than default to the number of pages shown). Thanks very much for the suggestion!

This worked for me as well, i.e. printing one page at a time. However, does that mean I have to print every single page one at a time from here on

Unfortunately, I'm not sure because I don't have SW to test with... but if you haven't tried already ...in the thread from the link I shared with the OP the developer mentions:

Try to select the " Range from "instead of " All pages" .

Maybe you can do 1-3 or 1 to what have you and that'll work for you?

I will try your suggestion and see if it works, although I think I did, but I'll double check.

Meanwhile, do you have any insights into why it won't let me create a PDF? The entire program shuts down.

I'm basically trying to prepare really excellent leadsheets of my songs to give to a pro arranger, and Score Writer actually does a great job. But there is no real support except from people like you who take the time to answer.

I'd be happy to pay someone who is really a SW pro who can answer my questions. If you know someone, please let me know. Also, I'm happy to buy Overture if it will allow me to do the same (or more) of what I'm doing now: leadsheets (single melody line, plus chords) and or full sheet music versions of my songs (melody line with simple piano accompaniment/slash lines and chords).
